Flight review – Lufthansa 747 Flight in Business Class, Seattle to Frankfurt.
What an experience! Luxury flight with a Boeing 747-400 Lufthansa in Business Class from Seattle (SEA) to Frankfurt (FRA), LH482.
In this video you’ll see the business lounge, the take off scene at the airport Seattle and of course the business class in the Lufthansa 747. You’ll see also the wine list, the menu and the amenity kit. Last but not least some footage from the approach in Frankfurt.
Some thoughts about the cabin, the seat and the entertainment offer
Flying with Lufthansa is a pleasure. The cabin crew is very friendly and provides a pleasant and discreet service. They literally read the guest’s wishes from their lips. Every time you think you need something, a member of staff stood by the seat and asked if everything was all right. This is an incredible gift. As a guest you nearly think that the staff can read your mind.
The cabin is simple and very open. Compared to other airlines that make small fortresses out of their seats. The seats are very comfortable, can be adjusted in hardness by control and can of course be extended to a flat bed.
If we criticize something, then it is the space that a guest has to stow small things like the passport, the wallet or a small camera. Here, the A380 business class seats (window seat) are simply a dream e.g. at Emirates. Also the number of plugs for the power supply is very modest. The USB port is installed under the armrest in the seat. Which is not ideal, because if you adjust the seat, a cable can get jammed. Especially if you don’t think about it, such a clumsiness happens very quickly.
The entertainment offer leaves nothing to be desired. You can choose from a variety of films, music and games. The screens are not the sizes and not the most modern compared to other airlines, but they all serve their purpose, which is to pass the time.
