Overview video about our villa at Pacific Resort, Aitutaki, Cook Islands.
We spent 6 days at the Pacific Resort Aitutaki where the Rapae Bay Restaurant is part of it. The whole team around the head chef Michael Fosbender gave every day (breakfast, lunch and evening) top gastronomic performances. During our 8-week round trip we had our best meal in this restaurant.
The chef himself took care of our freshly caught tuna (yellow fin tuna) and turned it into a delicious fish dish (Ika Mata, sashimi and grilled tuna).
Also a local evening with buffet food was covered with a variety of local and international dishes and met more than expectations. No matter which dish you chose (breakfast, lunch or dinner), it was always very tasty and perfectly served.
We lived in a very luxurious Premium Beachfront Bungalow at Pacific Resort, Aitutaki. It was surrounded by the breathtaking, tranquil turquoise waters of the Aitutaki lagoon. A forty-five minute flight from Rarotonga takes you to the sublime turquoise waters of one of the World’s most beautiful tropical lagoons. Aitutaki is one of the Cook Islands, north of Rarotonga. It has a population of approximately 2,000. Aitutaki is the second most visited island of the Cook Islands.
